Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! Did you see the last post for Friday Favorites? A few weeks ago I started this idea for weekly posts called Friday Favorites. This is a way to efficiently answer the questions I receive and keep you up to date on what is going on. I will be sharing my favorite things from the week, what I’m planning and projects that I have been working on. I’ve continued working on house projects this week and I’m still waiting on one (or two) last deliveries to complete everything that I have started. The finished primary bathroom, mudroom, laundry room and office/craft area soon to be complete. I also started a furniture project for my kitchen eating area – The last Home Depot delivery should arrive with a few pieces on Monday and then I can complete the building and finally paint it. One of the big home projects is taking out the carpet and replacing the floor in the bedrooms and closets and that has me looking for the perfect rugs. I’ll be shopping the President’s Day Sale on RugsUSA this weekend to order the rugs.

We finished the Ultimate Organizing Summit 2021 on Instagram this week – it was 21 days, providing tips and ideas on how to organize your home. I went LIVE on IG on Day 7 of the #ultimateorganizingsummit to discuss food storage and all things pantry and kitchen organization. We finished the Valentine’s Day decor for our family room and decorated the fireplace. You can find all the details on how we made each piece here.

I’ve been experimenting with a few new recipes and think it’s time to create a new 2 week reusable meal plan with corresponding grocery list. Of course I will share the new recipes too.

Home projects, progress on finishing the unfinished basement and planning some upcoming adventures are all on the agenda for the next few weeks. Hopefully squeezing that in with a busy work calendar. I’m hoping to have a few completed projects and big reveals for you in the next few weeks.
