If you love tacos but want to stay away from the carbs in the shell this recipe is for you. The Mexi Bowl recipe is basically a taco in a bowl. It’s easy to make, satisfying and flavorful.

Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey
1/2 white onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, diced
taco seasoning
2 cups lettuce, shredded
10 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
2 avocados, diced
1.5 cups Sour Cream
2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1.5 cups fresh salsa
Lime (squeezed for juice only)

Instructions

Heat turkey over medium heat in a skillet. Add onion and garlic and stir together.
Add taco seasoning and water and continue cooking according to package directions.
Divide meat into bowls and add lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, avocado, sour cream, cheese, salsa and bit of lime juice to each bowl before serving.
